Title: Maple Oatmeal

1pkYeast
1cOats; quick cooking
3cBread flour
1tsSalt
1/3cMaple syrup
1tbOil
1 1/4cPlus 1 T warm water

Put all the ingredients into the pan in the order listed; select white bread and push start. -----

oh good! There ya go. I think I probably put some gluten in, a silverware kind of tablespoon, not too heaping, and a smidge of lecithin in it, because I figured maybe the oatmeal would be heavy and it would need it. Obviously it didn't. I used real maple syrup, because that's what we have. I don't buy table syrup, either have real because someone gave us a jug, or I make my own, using the recipe on the box of mapleline. The kids usually prefer the homemade..it's a sugar syrup, maybe with a tablespoon of corn syrup in it...but we don't have any of that right now either. It's not extremely maple tasting though...wonder what a quarter teaspoon of maple flavoring would do for it? I thought that was a lot of liquid, and ignored the extra T of water when I put the stuff in the pan, but I believe I wound up adding about that much to it while it was kneading. anno `[1;37;40m Rainbow V 2.01 Registered
